Aalap Bharucha

I am Aalap. A lot of who I am comes from the people around me. My trusted circle, my faith in them, and the feeling that we can figure things out together.

I’m Co-Founder & CSO at Shades of Web. I get excited when we have an idea and start seeing what we can do with it. We don’t always know where it will go. But there’s already a lot to enjoy in trying, learning and making something together.

I like talking things through with people I trust. Hearing what they think, sharing an idea, and seeing what we can do together.

Even when I’m tired, talking gives me energy. A good conversation can get me going again.

I also really enjoy seeing people grow. When someone tries something on their own or makes something they’re excited to show us, I get excited too.

I get excited about new ideas, especially when we can try them and see something working. Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time with AI, working on automating most of the things we have to take care of in work and life. I’m also interested in how a business works, what people need, and where we can create an opportunity together.

And yes, I’m optimistic. I don’t always know how something will work out. Sometimes I’m still trying to understand what’s happening. But I usually feel that we can work on it and figure it out. A lot of that confidence comes from the people around me.
